Sir, Can you tell me what should I study in 'Chemistry in everyday life' for mains purpose.
ReplyDeleteIn JEE Mains there will be atleast 1 question from 'Chemistry in everyday life'. Study the NCERT chemistry book and make notes of important points in a notebook and revise it before going to bed !! For practising problem of chapter 'Chemistry in everyday life' follow the NCERT Exemplar. It will really help you. You can also solve questions from FIITJEE or Resonance study package. It has selected important questions.
DeleteAnd one more thing questions from 'Chemistry in everyday life' gets repeated in JEE so you must solve the past year questions.
thank you sir
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteplease let me know about main topics of JEE(MAINS) PCM SYLLABUS
First of all I will say you go through the last 5 -6 years Question Bank and NCERT Books for important topics and Syllabus. It will give you the pattern of questions asked in Mains.
DeleteThese are few scoring topics.
Note: Main topics for PCM can very from year to year. It is better advised to follow the NCERT Syllabus for JEE Main.
Physics:
In Modern Physics go through the topic like Radioactivity, Photoelectric Effect, Nuclei. There will be atleast one question from each topics.
Semiconductor (Logic Gates,Transistor as a Amplifier and its characteristics) , Electromagnetic Wave, Wave Optics (YDSE , Diffraction ), Geometrical Optics, Electrodynamics , In Mechanics go through the topics like Projectile Motion, Circular Motion, SHM, Gravitation, Fluids( Bernoulli equations, surface Tension), Work ,energy and Power, Force(Dynamics) and Friction.
Chemistry:
Refer to the NCERT Chemistry book for main topics.
Go through the tables given in the book and exerices.

P.S: It is about 23 days left for JEE Main 2017. If you are going to appear in JEE Main 2017 then please don't study the topics that you have not studied before( It will waste your time and make you stress). Instead you must revise what you have studied throught the year. And Solve the question bank daily.
Shukriya Sir
ReplyDeleteWhen should we study at day or night.... I have just finished my 10th and want 2 go for engineering so am really tensed dat is it true dat d entrance o IIT is too hard.....Pls tell me how to get rid of this unnecessary stress.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I congratulate you that you *YOURSELF* have decided to become an engineer (Not a parental or social pressure). This is the first step to become an IITIAN.
DeleteIt is natural to get stress because you have started thinking on correct time. So if you'll continue to work from now the load of stress will be divided and you will not need to break mountain in one day.
IITJEE exam will be conducted during daytime. So in order to tune your mind you should study in day.As a result you will not feel sleepy during the exam.
So, How to get rid of unnecessary stress? Well!! I suggest, you stop thinking too much. Make a plan and execute it. Follow a daily routine.
If you want to be winner in IITJEE (Of course you want:) ), it is better you join a good coaching class as soon as possible after class 10th. Don't wait for the Board result to come. Start practising Maths, Physics on yourself (even if it is not started in the coaching).
In order to relax ,do a little bit exercise in morning like walking in the park ( spend just about 30 minutes).
IIT entrance just demands a strong desire and continuous work and that's it there is nothing like one needs to be topper of the school since 8th or 5th to crack JEE. Little bit of stress is necessary to make you work but excess of anything is bad .
The only key to conquer fear or to gain confidence is by achieving capability and that will come only by hard work,So trust yourself and continue to work hard and this will surely be reflected in your result.
I hope this will clear your doubts. If not feel free to ask. We will be glad to help you.
All the best for your new journey!
